Press release: VETUS MAXWELL expands team to strengthen customer support and service

Corporate

Northern American team enhances service capabilities and strengthens support becoming faster, smarter, and more connected to customers

VETUS Maxwell Inc. is pleased to announce a strategic expansion to its Northern American team. Over the past year, VETUS Maxwell has added new roles across Applications Engineering, Integrations Engineering, and Customer Support, along with a newly strengthened Engineering Department. These additions have boosted capability, responsiveness, and elevated the level of partnership offered to OEMs, dealers, installers, and end-users.

Four new team members have been welcomed to the team including Jenna Giescke, Applications Engineer; Kurt J. Sova, Integrations Engineer and OEM Support; Greg Inscore, Sales Manager and Marine Engineer for the Southeast, Florida & Gulf Coast region; and Christopher M. Houpt, Customer Service.

With integration across propulsion, anchoring, and control systems becoming more complex, boatbuilders and system designers require integration expertise alongside first-class components. By adding dedicated Applications and Integrations Engineers, a stronger bridge has been built between product development teams and installers and using systems in the field.

  • These engineers are hands-on problem-solvers, supporting OEMs, designers, and installers during design, specification, installation, and commissioning.
  • They help prevent issues before they happen, streamline integration, and ensure that our systems perform as intended across a wide range of vessel types.
  • The direct communication channel between the field and our engineering group creates a real-time feedback loop that feeds directly into future product design and continuous improvement.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to putting the customer first, ensuring fewer integration issues, faster solutions, and smarter products over time.” said Chris DeBoy, President at VETUS Maxwell. “Our growing team ensures we can continue to provide the responsive service and reliable support that our customers have come to expect from VETUS Maxwell. How we support the marine industry has evolved and it’s what will set us apart from competitors in the years ahead.”

This expanded structure delivers:

  • Faster response: Our Applications and Support teams can now respond more quickly to technical questions, system design needs, and integration challenges.
  • Deeper expertise: Each new team member brings specialized marine knowledge — from electrical integration and hydraulic systems to advanced control systems — ensuring we can provide informed answers, not generic support.
  • End-to-end assistance: Whether a customer is specifying a bow thruster, designing a full hydraulic system, or integrating controls and anchoring, they now have one coordinated VETUS Maxwell team supporting them throughout the lifecycle.
  • Smarter communication: With support staff embedded in our engineering processes, we can track field data, share insights, and continuously improve both product reliability and documentation quality.
