VETUS is classed as a ‘learning company’. This means we have been acknowledged by the Dutch government as a firm wherein students can pursue an internship.
In any given year, we will host more than 10 interns across several departments such as engineering, marketing and warehousing. On many occasions, interns will end up starting their first job within the company – which tells you all you need to know about the potential of following an internship with VETUS.
“I come from a family with a deep love for the sea and for sailing. My interest in this world began when I was about five years old. We had a small boat and spent our weekends out on the water. Ever since then, the idea of becoming part of this industry has always drawn me in. When I chose to pursue engineering, I knew that a part of me hoped to eventually return to this sector. Fortunately, my path crossed with VETUS, and they gave me the opportunity to grow and develop in line with my dreams!”

The VETUS young generation is the new VETUS generation – young, enthusiastic colleagues who regularly team up to visit plants, suppliers, boatbuilders and dealers to learn more about the industry. They also enjoy organizing social events.
