OEM Business Development Manager UK

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated OEM Business Development Manager UK to join our team in the United Kingdom. In this pivotal role within the marine industry, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing a comprehensive account plan, aimed at achieving ambitious sales and marketing objectives. A significant part of your role will involve visiting OEMs to introduce and promote VETUS and Maxwell products, establishing and nurturing professional relationships, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will be instrumental in breaking down these objectives into actionable quarterly, monthly, and personal targets and programs, ensuring alignment with our company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Planning: Craft detailed account plans that align with our company’s objectives, breaking these into actionable quarterly, monthly, and personal goals
Market Insight: Keep a pulse on the market, gathering data on trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform our sales strategies
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing OEMs and the VETUS dealer network
Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer complaints with a proactive approach, aiming for resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Reporting and Analysis: Deliver insightful quarterly sales reports, tracking performance against goals and identifying areas for improvement
Collaboration: Promote synergy across departments to achieve our sales targets

About You:

You have a proven track record in key account management, ideally within the marine or related industries
You will bring an OEM network with you, which will help you to enter the local OEM market in the marine industry
Your analytical skills enable you to interpret market data and trends accurately
You are willing and able to travel frequently, embracing the opportunity to engage with clients and prospects directly
Your ability to communicate is exceptional, and you are fluent in the English language
You have a customerfocused approach, adept at resolving issues and building lasting relationships
