Open Yard Ellos

Open Yard is Scandinavia’s largest sailboat show and West Sweden’s large boat show. This boat show is held in Ellös on island Orust, on the Swedish West Coast, in the Hallberg-Rassy marina. Both sailboats and motorboats are exhibited. As the name says, at Open Yard / Öppet Varv,  Hallberg-Rassy opens up the boatyard for all visitors to see boat building in action.

Open Yard will take place in Ellös 21-23 August 2026. We have a concept that has made it possible to successfully arrange the show even the pandemic years 2020 and 2021. 2026 will be the 33nd year in a row for Open Yard in Ellös on Orust.

In 2025, we had 127 boats from 9-69 ft exhibited; 58 new boats in the marina area (of which 30 are powerboats and 28 sailingboats), 21 in production, 30 pre-owned yachts for sale, 10 fine old classic boats and 8 other interesting boats. You find a graphic arrangement plan here.

All boat manufacturers and boat dealers, used boat brokers as well as exhibitors of yacht equipment are invited to this show. This is Scandinavia’s largest sailboat show.

The show exhibits new sailboats and motorboats from many different boat manufacturers, as well as pre-owned sailboats and motorboats for sale in the water by professional yacht brokers, as well as the yacht production in the work shops, classic boats not for sale and many yacht equipment exhibitors tents outside the boatyard.
