The hydraulic pump units and cylinders are fully interchangeable, thus enabling the builder and the owner to choose the best possible combination of price and number of wheels turns lock to lock. The smaller the pump unit, the lower the price, but also: the higher the number of turns. The rudder torque always determines which cylinder is to be selected.

Cylinders

Steering wheels
Type PRO
PRO steering wheels are resistant against all possible weather conditions and the anthracite semi-hard polyurethane rim (RAL 7016) will keep your hands warm. The substantial spokes and the hub cover are made from high-gloss polished (AISI 316) stainless steel. The hub itself is made of synthetic material and bored for a Ø 3/4” shaft with 1:12 taper, so that it will fit most types of steering systems. The outer rim measures 32 mm in diameter, ensuring a comfortable grip in all conditions. These steering wheels are available with overall diameters of 400, 500 or 600 mm. These steering wheels meet EN ISO 28848 and ABYC P-22. An alternative hub is available as an option, this has a shaft hole of Ø 1” and a taper of 3½:12. Product code: SETPS1.

Type KS
Steering wheels type KS feature stainless steel rims with a layer of semi-hard PU-foam which has an integral skin. Consequently, no more cold hands with these soft-feel beautiful wheels. Spokes and cap are (AISI 316) stainless steel. These steering wheels are resistant against all weather conditions. The hub itself is made of synthetic material and bored for a Ø 3/4” shaft with 1:12 taper, so that it will fit most types of steering systems.
The outer rim measures 30 mm in diameter, ensuring a comfortable grip in all conditions. These steering wheels are available with overall diameters of 320, 360, 380, 450 or 537mm. These steering wheels fulfil all CE and ABYC directives. Type KS38, KS45 and KS55 are supplied in the colors grey or black. Steering wheel types KS32 and KS36 are suitable for steering outboard motors with a maximum output of up to 40kW (55hp).
