At VETUS the responsible engineer handles the complete process of development from idea to market introduction including testing, validation and the (internal/external) handover to production. Tasks Software and hardware development through all phases of a product for the pleasure marine market Translating customer problems into product improvements for the existing product range Defining and developing a project roadmap (administration, planning, monitoring and management) Providing technical support to other departments (Sales/Service) Guiding certification processes with external experts Maintaining existing products Requirements HBO/WO/BS Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science (or comparable) with minimum 2 years of embedded system development experience. Fluent in either English or Dutch language Experience with Embedded systems development, design and testing of PCB’s with SMD components.
