VETUS introduces a new battery specifically for electric boating: meet the all-new VEDC1110TC. The VEDC110TC is a group 31 “Deep Cycle / Semi-traction” battery featuring two different connections. One set of conventional tapered posts and one set of threaded connections (5/16 “) for cable lugs. Thicker plates inside the battery allow deeper discharging (up to 75%) compared to conventional batteries and can be used for cyclic applications. Because of this, the battery is very suitable for electric boating where the battery is discharged over a longer period of time.
